What is happening on December 3rd?

As strange as it sounds, there’s nothing happening on December 3rd. The reason you have been seeing videos referring to this date and a sweater is because of singer Conan Gray’s song Heather.

The song was released in 2020 and has become a popular trend since. People have always uploaded videos with the lyrics that read: “I still remember, third of December, me in your sweater. You said it looked better on me than it did you.”

How the trends have taken over

The lyrics have managed to take over the audience and now people have made a trend of their own. Some have been taking notes from the song and think giving your favorite sweater to your crush might be the perfect way of letting them know you like them.

On the other hand, there are people who’ve been hoping they aren’t on the receiving end of getting handed an unwanted sweater.

As people await December 3rd to arrive, some people have been making videos on the subject and reigniting the trend all over again.

Dates have a special meaning on TikTok

This isn’t the first time people on TikTok have become obsessed by a date. In fact, a couple of weeks ago people started talking about April 29th.

That was because Taylor Swift referenced this date in her song High Infidelity. Since then, users have been sharing their own pictures from that date and turning them into a whole trend.

Don’t be too surprised to see more dates becoming popular on the platform!
