Achraf Hakimi has labelled Tottenham transfer target and Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech the ‘MVP’ on Instagram after Morocco pulled off a stunning 2-0 win over Belgium at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Chelsea’s struggling and transfer-listed star went to the World Cup with no goals or assists to his name this season.

But he made sure that was ended when he assisted Morocco’s opening goal against out-of-sorts Belgium to edge his side closer to a possible place in the knockout stages.

During his days at Ajax, Ziyech possessed a wicked left foot and high-definition technical quality.

However, since moving for big-money to Chelsea in 2020, he hasn’t been able to replicate that form, although, he was whipping in those crosses with his left foot for fun and showcasing that form is still there in Doha.

When Ziyech expressed his delight at his recent performance, he was labelled ‘MVP’ the Most Valuable Player by Hakimi, as well as Reece James, Donny van de Been and Kurt Zouma showing their appreciation to the 29-year-old in the comments section.

TOTTENHAM’S INTEREST IN ZIYECH

Antonio Conte is looking to bulk up his forward line as Tottenham look to secure Champions League football again and possibly win a trophy.

As the Italian has showcased with Dejan Kulusevski, he can lift the mood of a player and get the best out of him, even if he was previously struggling.

Perhaps the Spurs boss thinks he can do that with Ziyech, who is on Tottenham’s radar because Conte is looking for someone similar to Kulusevski, according to the Times.
