Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United plan to hold talks with the representatives of PSV winger Cody Gakpo after the 2022 Qatar World Cup, according to Voetbal International journalist Marco Timmer on Twitter.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Real Madrid all want to sign the Netherlands international winger from PSV in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old is completely focused on the World Cup for now, but after the competition ends, there will be talks between his agents and Liverpool, United, Bayern and Madrid, according to Timmer.
The reporter has added that PSV value the youngster at €50 million (£43 million).

Exciting potential signing
In our view, Cody Gakpo would be a very good and exciting signing for Liverpool in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old – described as “dangerous” by former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie on BT Sport (27 October, 5pm) – scores goals and creates chances, and his performances at the 2022 Qatar World Cup so far show that he is not fazed by the big occasions.
Gakpo has scored two goals for the Netherlands in Qatar.
The PSV youngster has scored nine goals and given 12 assists in 14 Eredivisie matches, and has scored three goals and provided two assists in five UEFA Europa League games so far this season.
