Like with all new Pokemon games, they always add a new regional type of Pokemon. For example, Hisuian Growlithe. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet we have Paldean Wooper. This guide will tell you how to evolve Paldean Wooper.
Luckily, evolving Wooper isn’t too terrible, and it won’t take too much of your time compared to some other Pokemon that you may encounter along the way.
This is one pokemon that you won’t have to stress about, as they are very easy to evolve, and aren’t very complicated.
Without further ado, here is the guide on how to evolve Paldean Wooper.
Where to Find Paldean Wooper
Paldean Wooper is likely one of the first Pokemon you’ll encounter in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, however, if you’ve managed to miss it, you can find its locations on the map below:
How to Evolve Paldean Wooper
This evolution technique applies to both the Johtoian form and the Paldean form of Wooper, so you can use this method for both of them.
To evolve Wooper into Clodsire or Quagsire, all you need to do is level them up to level 20. It’s very simple and doesn’t take much time at all. There are a couple of methods you can use to speed up this process if you feel it is taking too long, too.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have implemented a new feature where you can now send your pokemon off to auto-battle and they can be responsible for gaining XP and leveling themselves up.
If you don’t want to use this method, you can equally use rare candies and XP candies to boost their levels without worrying about sending them off into battle.
Or, if you want to experience fighting alongside your Wooper, you can have them as your main damage dealer so that they can get the biggest chunk of XP possible.
Once they have reached level 20, they will then evolve into Clodsire. Easy peasy, right?
However, there is another option.
Clodsire appears around Paldea in the wild. Below is a map of all of all of its spawn locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:
