Arsenal to bid for Palmeiras midfielder Danilo

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Arsenal made a bid for €25 million (£18 million) for Danilo on the final day of the summer transfer window.

The Gunners failed with their offer, but they have retained interest in the youngster and will make a bid for him after the 2022 Qatar World Cup group stage.

Other clubs are also expected to make offers for the 21-year-old, according to Nicola.

The journalist has added that Palmeiras could now be willing to accept €25 million (£18 million) for Danilo.

Exciting

In our view, Palmeiras midfielder Danilo would be a very good and exciting signing for Arsenal in the January transfer window.

Danilo is very highly rated and is only 21 years of age.

Signing him in the middle of he season would allow the Brazilian youngster six or so months to get used to life in England and in the Premier League and he would be ready to make an impact in the next campaign.

A transfer fee of €25 million (£18 million) is not really much for an elite club such as Arsenal.
