Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United could make a bid for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

Newcastle United linked with Leeds United’s Jack Harrison

The report has claimed that Newcastle wanted to sign Harrison from Premier League rivals Leeds in the summer of 2022.

However, Leeds priced the Magpies out of a move.

The report has claimed that Newcastle remain interested in the £60,000-a-week (SalarySport) former Manchester City prospect and could ‘increase their offer’, but only if the Englishman ‘rounds into form’.

The 26-year-old, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, has made 12 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Jesse Marsch’s side so far this season.

The Leeds no. 11 has scored one goal and given three assists in those matches.

Could a transfer happen?

In our view, Leeds United are unlikely to sell Jack Harrison to Newcastle United – or to any other club for that matter – unless, of course, they received a massive offer.

Like a bid of £50 million or £60 million.

Harrison is an important player for Leeds, who are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, and we do not think that the West Yorkshire club would be keen to let him leave in the middle of the campaign.
