Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier has raved about reported Liverpool and Manchester City target Jude Bellingham on BBC Sport following his performance for England against Iran at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Bellingham, linked with Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea, scored for England in their 6-2 victory over Iran on Monday.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder ran the show from the middle of the park for the Three Lions, especially in the first half.
It was a truly brilliant performance from Bellingham, and the 19-year-old midfielder’s England international teammate Trippier was hugely impressed.
CBS Sport journalist Ben Jacobs has reported on Twitter that Liverpool and Real Madrid are the frontrunners for Bellingham and want to sign him in the summer of 2023.
Manchester City are also interested in the teenager.

City striker Erling Haaland has reportedly told Bellingham to move to the defending Premier League champions.
Norway international striker Haaland and England international midfielder Bellingham played at German club Dortmund.
Chelsea are also interested in the former Birmingham City midfielder, according to Jacobs.
Dortmund are a big club, but the German outfit do tend to sell their best players, although we do not think that they will entertain any offers for Bellingham in the January transfer window.

Trippier said about Bellingham: ”Bellingham is an unbelievable player for such a young age. He is playing at such a high level and he is not afraid. He has got to keep his feet on the ground and keep performing at a high level like I know he will.”
