Wayne Rooney has raved about Arsenal duo Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli in The Times.
Rooney believes that Jesus, Martinelli, Vinícius Jr of Real Madrid and Manchester United’s Antony are “really talented”.
The Manchester United legend made the comments about Arsenal forwards Jesus and Martinelli while looking at the attacking players that Brazil have in their squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2022 for £45 million (The Daily Mail).
Martinelli cost the Gunners £6 million when they signed him in 2019 (Goal).

Rooney said: “It’s always exciting watching Brazil. Growing up I loved watching them with Romario and Ronaldo.
“Now, they don’t have as many players with the same status but they have some really talented individuals like Vinícius Jr, Gabriel Jesus, Antony and Gabriel Martinelli.”
Talented players
In our view, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli are two very good players who will play their part for Brazil at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar and for Arsenal in the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League this season.
Jesus has taken his game to another level at Arsenal since his move from City and is playing regularly for the Gunners.
Martinelli is still very young and developing, but the way he is playing on the left of a front-three for Arsenal is simply stunning.
Who knows, Jesus and Martinelli could become world champions in Qatar and also win the Premier League with Arsenal this season.
