Tottenham are reportedly interested in another Inter Milan star in Federico Dimarco with Spurs being linked with a whole host of Inter stars – a player that Antonio Conte was seriously impressed with both on and off the pitch at Inter.

Dimarco, 25, has finally made an impact at Inter. He was a Nerazzurri academy product but was forced to leave on loan numerous times – even leaving permanently in 2017 to join Swiss side Sion. But he was bought back a year later.

But it has taken Dimarco until the last 18 months to really make a mark at Inter. Of his 67 appearances for Inter, 61 of them have come under current boss Simone Inzaghi – the man who replaced Conte. He has 13 goal involvements.

Indeed, he has six goal involvements in 19 games this season. His form has seen him become a regular in Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad. Now, CMW report that Conte wants to reunite with Dimarco, but he would cost around £35m.

Conte spoke about Dimarco and Borja Valero: “They haven’t played, but they have always shown professionalism and a love for this shirt. When you train with focus your chances will always come. Borja and Dimarco are examples of this.”

Tottenham interested in Dimarco: Conte seriously impressed at Inter

Dimarco is one of Inter’s best players at the moment. The Nerazzurri have a number of players that can change a game but in terms of the current state of the squad – he is the one with a bit of aggression. One that can change a match.

They also have Lautaro Martinez, Edin Dzeko, Milan Skriniar, Nicolo Barella, Denzel Dumfries and more. All players that have been linked with Spurs during Conte’s reign. Of course, Conte has signed Perisic from Inter. Do Spurs need him?

Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon are two, trusted options on the left. Sergio Reguilon remains a Spurs player, only on a dry loan at Atletico Madrid. Destiny Udogie was loaned back to Udinese after his move to Spurs in the summer.
