Arsenal want Mykhaylo Mudryk and the Shakhtar Donetsk winger has admitted he’s interested in joining forces with Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The Gunners are likely to be in the market for a new winger in 2023.
Whether it’s in January or the summer, Edu needs to find another wide man to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad depth.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are shining but with Nicolas Pepe unlikely to play for the club again and Emile Smith Rowe capable of playing as a number 10, a proper wide man would be ideal.

Mykhaylo Mudryk interested in joining forces with Arsenal’s Zinchenko
There may be links to Orlando City’s Facundo Torres but there is no doubting who the most heavily-linked winger is when it comes to Arsenal.
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk is that man having shown enormous potential in Ukraine.
Mudryk has been a menace domestically and in the Champions League this season, racking up eight goals and eight assists in 16 games.
Fast, direct and so good on the counter attack, 21-year-old Mudryk looks set to become an absolute superstar.
Arsenal were keen over the summer but didn’t pull the trigger with Fabrizio Romano stating that the Gunners have had positive contact with his representatives.
Arsenal may well push for a deal to sign Mudryk in January and the winger has been speaking about his future with Vlada Zinchenko – the wife of Arsenal star Oleksanr Zinchenko.
Speaking on her YouTube channel and as translated by Ukrainian football account Zorya Londonsk, Mudryk admitted that it does appeal to him to join Arsenal and play down the same flank as Zinchenko.
Mudryk also claimed that, if the choice was between being a squad player at Real Madrid or starting at Arsenal, he would choose the Gunners.
These are two major indications that Mudryk wants to join Arsenal and if Edu isn’t looking at these comments and pushing forward the Gunners’ move, then the Brazilian will risk missing out.
