Cristiano Ronaldo has launched a stunning attack on Manchester United and even Arsenal weren’t safe from his furious interview.

Ronaldo has suggested in the past that he would speak his truth in good time after a strange summer.

The Portuguese forward wanted to leave United over the summer but the window shut with no deal being done.

Ronaldo has been forced to make do with a place on the United bench more often than not and he has displayed his frustration.

Ronaldo walked down the tunnel before the full-time whistle against Tottenham and whilst Erik ten Hag gave him a chance to return, he has now torpedoed his Manchester United career.

Cristiano Ronaldo makes comment about Arsenal in interview

Piers Morgan has been given the chance to interview Ronaldo and even those words sounded like trouble was coming.

Ronaldo voiced how he feels betrayed by United, how people at the club want to get rid of him, how he doesn’t respect Ten Hag and how the club hasn’t moved forward since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.

The 37-year-old seemingly doesn’t quite realise that United bringing him back will now go down as one of those bad decisions and more proof of being stuck in the Ferguson era.

Ronaldo spoke of how United are no longer at the top level, something many could have probably told him before he decided to rejoin the club in 2021.

As quoted by The Sun, Ronaldo claims in his interview that he wants the best for United and that they should be ‘top of the tree’.

However, Ronaldo feels he has seen things inside the club that don’t help and believe the club have slipped behind Liverpool, Manchester United and ‘even now Arsenal’.

“I think the fans should know the truth,” said Ronaldo. “I want the best for the club. This is why I come to Manchester United.”

“But you have some things inside that don’t help (us) reach the top level as City, Liverpool and even now Arsenal… a club with this dimension should be top of the tree in my opinion and they are not unfortunately,” he added.

Arsenal have taken enormous strides under Mikel Arteta and now find themselves top of the Premier League for Christmas.

The funny part here is that Arsenal have moved forward under Arteta having ditched ageing, overpaid players like Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – exactly the problem United have with Ronaldo now.

Arsenal have a well-drilled unit where everybody knows their roles and everybody chips in for the team.

Few can honestly claim that Ronaldo has been doing that for United this season and it’s now better for everybody to go their separate ways whilst United try to move forward with Ten Hag.

Ronaldo’s explosive interview is surely the end for him at Old Trafford with this supposed dream return becoming a nightmare for all.
