Liverpool want Youssoufa Moukoko and agencies are now scrambling to try and represent the Borussia Dortmund striker ahead of a possible exit.
The Reds are surely going to spend on a number of new signings in 2023 in order to freshen up Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
FSG may be open to selling up but they will need to finance some key signings if Liverpool are to kick on again under the German.
Much of the speculation has surrounded Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham but one of his teammates is also on the Liverpool wish list.

Liverpool want Youssoufa Moukoko
Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko is the man in question with Liverpool eyeing the wonderkid.
Sport Bild claim that Liverpool and Manchester United have both ‘set their sights’ on signing Moukoko in 2023.
Moukoko can sign a professional deal with Dortmund when he turns 18 on November 20th.
The expectation right now is that Moukoko is going to sign that contract but if he doesn’t, a move to England is a real possibility.
It’s added that the biggest agencies around are now trying to represent Moukoko, whose current agent is Patrick Williams.
Wasserman and Unique Sports Group are two huge agencies in the game and have great ties to the English game.
That will leave Dortmund worrying that Moukoko may be lured over to the Premier League.
The report adds that the total price for Moukoko in terms of fee, agent fees, wages and bonuses would be around €30million (£26million).
That doesn’t sound all that expensive for Moukoko, who Erling Haaland claimed is ‘much better’ than he was at that age.
The 17-year-old has been sensational of late, hitting six goals and four assists in 13 games.
Liverpool may see Moukoko as a sensation that they just can’t miss out on but the ball is in Dortmund’s court for now.
