Italian outlet CMW claim that Tottenham are willing to sell Japhet Tanganga for a bargain fee of just £8.75million with the defender managing just one senior appearance this season under Antonio Conte, ahead of the January window.
Tanganga, 23, came on against Marseille in the 2-0 win at home – in which Richarlison scored a brace. But that was the England Under-21 international’s only appearance of the season. He is well down the pecking order under boss Conte.
On the right of a back three, Tanganga finds himself behind Cristian Romero and Davinson Sanchez in the rankings. Even Eric Dier has played in that role in the last two games, with Clement Lenglet being used in the middle of the three.
At right wing-back, Spurs have Matt Doherty, Emerson Royal, Djed Spence and Tanganga. Again, even Ryan Sessegnon and Ivan Perisic have been used in that role. Tanganga has little chance of breaking into the Spurs side in his positions.
The reports say that Spurs are willing to cash in on Tanganga in the January window. Even, if he is a homegrown player and the club’s registration came close to meaning they had to leave players out. They want just £8.75m for Tanganga.

Tottenham willing to sell Tanganga for just £8.75million in January
It is time for Tanganga to go. But is the price tag the right one? Spurs can surely request more for a defender that is proven in the Premier League. He can play in numerous defensive roles, and the £25k-a-week man is 23.
However, it might be that Tanganga simply needs to go and given the loyalty he has shown to Tottenham, Spurs need to appreciate that a move would be best for his future. So, even if a fee is slightly cheap, Spurs should let him go.
