Kalvin Phillips has said on BBC Radio 5 Live (7:58pm, November 7, 2022) that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is a massive Leeds United fan, adding that they plan to watch a game together at Elland Road.
Phillips has said that his Manchester City teammate Haaland is a Leeds fan, and that both of them would go to watch a game at Elland Road.
The England international midfielder grew up a Leeds fan and played for the West Yorkshire club before moving to defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Haaland was born in Leeds.
The 22-year-old Norway international striker is the son of Alfie Haaland, who played for Leeds from 1997 until 2000.
Haaland joined City in the summer of 2022.

Kalvin Phillips on Erling Haaland and Leeds United fans
Phillips said: “Erling Haaland is a Leeds fan, yeah. He is.”
The Englishman added: “He is a massive Leeds fan as well. We have actually talked about coming to Elland Road as well to watch a big game. Leeds fans need to watch out for us in the stands.”
Brilliant
Leeds United will take on Manchester City at Elland Road in the Premier League on December 28.
It is very likely that if both are fit, then Kalvin Phillips and Erling Haaland will play in the match.
One suspects that Leeds fans will want the midfielder and the striker to struggle in the match so that the Whites win, but they will surely wish them well in other games.
It would be absolutely brilliant for Leeds fans if Phillips and Haaland rock up at Elland Road and watch a game with the supporters.
