English clubs want Samuel Iling-Junior – could Fabio Paratici raid Juventus once again with another Tottenham Hotspur coup?

This Champions League campaign has been an absolute disaster for Juventus.

One win and five defeats in their six group stage games is frankly embarrassing for a club of that size.

This demise is made even more humiliating when you remember how Andrea Agnelli wanted the European Super League and suggested that clubs like Atalanta shouldn’t be allowed into the Champions League.

Juventus have completely lost their way and let a number of talented young players leave in recent years.

The likes of Joao Cancelo, Merih Demiral, Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have all been let go in recent times before shining elsewhere.

Juventus can’t keep losing their young talent but they risk doing so with winger Samuel Iling-Junior.

The Athletic report that Premier League and European clubs are looking to snap up Juventus talent Iling-Junior.

Juve want to sort out a new deal but the interest is already there and former Chelsea teenager Iling-Junior may fancy a return to England.

Iling-Junior left the Chelsea ranks for Juve in 2020 and has really shot to prominence of late.

The winger came on against Benfica in the Champions League last month and created two goals with his performance being hailed as ‘extraordinary’ over in Italy.

So just who in the Premier League could be in the race for Iling-Junior?

You would imagine that if anybody would know about the talent inside Juventus, it’s probably Fabio Paratici.

The Tottenham director of football was still at Juventus when they signed Iling-Junior and he will know all about the teenager.

Both Paratici and Antonio Conte will have had one eye on Juventus in the Champions League and will have seen Iling-Junior’s impact against Benfica.

Tottenham need to think about signing another winger with Son Heung-min now in his 30’s and Lucas Moura surely on his way out in 2023.

Adding a top young talent like Iling-Junior could give Tottenham an heir to Son Heung-min and a real difference maker off the bench – as Juventus displays last month.

The likes of Manchester City and maybe even Chelsea will probably be in the race too, but having raided Juventus for Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski earlier this year, Paratici launching another raid on Juventus for Iling-Junior would make sense.
