Liverpool want Jude Bellingham and Jurgen Klopp has allegedly held a meeting with Mike Gordon to discuss a move for the Borussia Dortmund star.
It’s no great surprise that every major Liverpool rumour right now surrounds a potential midfield signing.
The Reds have looked a little sluggish in the middle of the park this season and ultimately unable to play the kind of football we associate with Klopp.
James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara are all in their 30’s, Fabinho looks well off the pace this season whilst both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are out of contract next summer.
It’s time for Liverpool to revamp their midfield and fans are clamouring for one signing in particular.

Liverpool want Jude Bellingham
No, it’s not Youri Tielemans or Konrad Laimer, two names linked with Liverpool of late.
Instead, it’s Dortmund star Bellingham who Liverpool fans want to see arrive at Anfield.
Rumours about Bellingham heading to Liverpool have been going on for a while now and Sport Bild report that the Reds are all in.
They claim that boss Klopp recently spoke with FSG president Mike Gordon to discuss a move for Bellingham.
The pair allegedly agreed that Bellingham needs to be Liverpool’s top target to bolster their midfield next summer.
It’s stated that Klopp and Gordon are willing to make Bellingham the club’s most expensive signing ever at around €100million – £86million.
However, that may not be enough to convince Dortmund and a figure of €150million (£129million) is now being suggested.
That’s a long way from Liverpool’s planned expenditure on Bellingham and the report adds that Chelsea would be willing to pay that kind of fee.
Liverpool may therefore need to dig a little deeper and Klopp will hope that speaking to Gordon will help bump up the budget a little.
The report adds that Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Arsenal have all been ruled out for Bellingham, so it’s down to Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City or Liverpool as his next destination.
Bellingham, 19, has been outstanding this season with nine goals and two assists in 19 appearances for Dortmund.
The teenager is already one of the most impressive midfielders in Europe and with a belief that he can become a superstar, Liverpool are keen to bring him back to England – but whether Klopp is given the money to make a deal happen remains to be seen.
