Alan Brazil believes that Son Heung-min could genuinely quit Tottenham Hotspur next summer.

For years, the South Korea international has been second only to Harry Kane when it comes to Spurs’ most important players.

This time around, however, he is struggling.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte labelled him ‘world class’ this past summer [90 Min] but the former Bayer Leverkusen hitman, a £22 million signing in 2015 [The Guardian], cannot seem to hit his best form this season.

So far, the 30-year-old has managed only five goals in 17 Premier League and Champions League appearances.

Even worse, Son has only scored in two of those 17 outings across all competitions.

And Brazil, the radio host, believes that a departure for the player is on the horizon next year.

He told talkSPORT [27/10, 9:54 am]: “I’ve always said I hope Harry goes nowhere. I hope Harry stays at Spurs. Son I think is different. I think he could move.”

Indeed, there is definitely something up with Son this season and it’s affecting Tottenham.

Even without the forward at his best, Conte’s side have still enjoyed a pretty decent season.

The Lilywhites are third in the Premier League table and five points behind Arsenal at the summit, but now imagine if the Italian manager had an in-form Son available to him since the campaign began.

He’s a massive player for Spurs and hopefully for them and Conte, he can find his best form again soon.
