According to Tutto Mercato Web, Everton and Newcastle could soon have a second chance to sign Armanda Broja from Chelsea.

Everton or Newcastle could land Broja in January

Well, it was Sky Sports who revealed that Newcastle were interested in a deal for the Albania international before the September 1st deadline, whereas Ben Jacobs claimed Everton were also keen.

Eventually, Broja ended up signing a new six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, although he still isn’t receiving a satisfactory amount of playing time.

Tutto Mercato Web believe the 21-year-old could hand in a transfer request if his situation does not change before the January transfer window.

Broja has made just one start in the Premier League this season following an outstanding 2021/22 campaign on loan at Southampton, where he scored nine goals.

To make matters worse, those ahead of him, such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz, are not exactly on fire in front of goal, so Graham Potter should give the Cobham graduate some more game time.

Tutto Mercato Web believe Chelsea value their No.18 at a sum of €40m (£35m).

Everton & Newcastle face Broja battle

If Broja does ask to leave Chelsea in January, it will not be easy for Frank Lampard or Eddie Howe to sign him.

Tutto Mercato Web believe AC Milan are also keen to sign the Chelsea wonderkid, and while the Italian giants are said to view his £35m price tag as quite expensive, a potential player plus cash deal could be in the offing.

Chelsea are interested in signing Rafael Leao from AC Milan, and the Italian news outlet believe the pair could come to some kind of agreement as a result of that.

Therefore, Everton and Newcastle certainly have a fight on their hands to sign Broja, if he does ask to leave west London.
