Netflix has made itself the home for teen-focused fantasy stories in recent years and its latest effort, The School For Good And Evil is one of its biggest yet.
The gargantuan movie tells the story of two best friends who find themselves on opposing sides of the titular school which is full of magical beings and hidden secrets.

The School For Good And Evil landed on Netflix on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Based on the novel of the same name by Soman Chainani, the film tells the story of best friends Sophie and Agatha who share an unlikely bond.
Sophie dreams of escaping her life to become a princess while Agatha has the makings of a brooding witch.
But when a powerful force sweeps the pair away to the School For Good And Evil, their roles are reversed and the bright-eyed Sophie is placed in the School For Evil while the grim Agatha is inducted into the School For Good.
The pair hope to return to their rightful places but a magical rivalry and sinister obstacles stand in their way.
Where was The School For Good And Evil filmed?
The School For Good And Evil was filmed primarily in and around Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Filming on the project began in January 2021 and wrapped after seven months in July of the same year.
Much of the movie’s filming took place on soundstages, with Belfast’s Harbour Studios and Loop Film Studios playing host to the cast and crew.
Several notable locations throughout Belfast also feature among the filming locations including St Peter’s Church, St Anne’s Cathedral, Mount Stewart, Ulster Folk Museum, Clandeboye Estate, Castle Archdale and Antrim Road
For the film’s eerie Blue Forest scenes, filming took place on location in the Big Dog and Woodburn Forests located away from Belfast.

Belfast has become an increasingly popular location with production crews in recent years with IMDb stating that almost 700 films and TV shows have been filmed in and around the city.
Some of the biggest projects to have been filmed in Belfast include the 2022 film The Northman, the TV series Derry Girls and Line Of Duty as well as Kenneth Branagh’s semi-autobiographical film, Belfast.
Arguably the most famous production to have filmed in and around Belfast, however, is Game Of Thrones but while the original series was filmed in Northern Ireland, its prequel series, House Of The Dragon is not, favoring to film in England as well as other locations in Europe.
