Music plays a key role in films and TV shows as the choice of songs or the use of cinematic score can help to add just the right feeling to each scene.
In the case of the Halloween movies, the horror franchise has become iconic with the help of its chilling theme while it has also seen the use of some toe-tapping songs and plenty of eerie original music over the years.
But which songs feature in the soundtrack of the newly released Halloween Ends and who composed the movie’s spooky score?

Halloween Ends: Release date and plot preview
Like many of the films that have come before, Halloween Ends arrived on our screens on October 14, 2022, in the run-up to Halloween itself.
Set four years after the events of Halloween Kills, the new film continues the story of Laurie Strode as she is now living with her granddaughter Allyson and is in the process of completing her memoir.
The evil Michael Myers hasn’t been since that last fateful encounter and Laurie is looking to put the specter of Myers behind her at long last.
But when a young man named Corey Cunningham is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil that has plagued her life once and for all.

Who composed the score?
Halloween End’s eerie score is the work of three composers, John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies.
The trio has worked on all three films in the recent Halloween trilogy as well as the recent horror film Firestarter.
John’s link Halloween franchise dates back to the original 1978 Halloween film as he served as director, writer and composer and has been involved in many of the films that have followed.
The score for Halloween Ends was released alongside the movie on October 14, 2022, and is available on streaming sites such as Spotify and Apple Music.
