Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised goalkeeper Alisson for his involvement in the goal that Mohamed Salah scored against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday evening, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Salah scored the only goal in Liverpool’s 1-0 win against defending champions Manchester City at home.
Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson provided the assist for the Egypt international forward.
The £67 million (Sky Sports) goalkeeper noticed that Salah was free in the City half and found his Liverpool teammate with a brilliant ball from inside his own area.
The former Chelsea attacker spun past Joao Cancelo and did not have any trouble in getting the ball past City goalkeeper Ederson.
And Liverpool manager Klopp was impressed.

Jurgen Klopp on Alisson and Mohamed Salah for Liverpool v Manchester City
Klopp said: “The situation around the goal is just sensational awareness from Alisson and outstanding from Mo. He might miss one but he will not miss two in a similar situation.”
World-class goalkeeper
In our opinion, Alisson is a world-class goalkeeper and is one of the best players at Liverpool.
The 30-year-old has been at the top of his game for years now and has been one of the best players, if not the best player, for Liverpool so far this season.
Alisson is brilliant between the posts, good with the ball at his feet, and can find his attacking teammates with accurate long passes.
Like he did against City.
