The report published this morning has claimed that Chelsea and Newcastle both are keen on signing Trossard, who is on the radar of Atletico Madrid and AC Milan as well.
Chelsea manager Graham Potter personally wants the 27-year-old winger at Stamford Bridge, having worked with him when he was in charge of Brighton.
Newcastle’s interest in the Belgium international winger is being driven by Dan Ashworth, according to the report.
Ashworth was the sporting director at Brighton and is now at Newcastle, and he himself is keen on bringing Trossard to St. James’ Park.
