Richarlison has been spotted on crutches after picking up what appeared to be a calf injury during Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-0 win over Everton.
The Brazilian will have been desperate to shine against former club Everton but this proved to be a difficult night.
Tottenham weren’t at their best with Richarlison on the pitch before he picked up an injury.
Yves Bissouma came on and Tottenham moved to a 3-5-2, finally opening Everton up as Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg’s deflected strike secured the win for Tottenham, who must now hope that Richarlison’s injury isn’t too bad.

Richarlison has been spotted on crutches
Richarlison has been vital to Tottenham’s attack of late with Dejan Kulusevski currently on the sidelines through injury.
It now looks like Richarlison faces a spell on the treatment table too having gone down with what looked like a calf injury against Everton.
ESPN Brasil now report that Richarlison was ‘inconsolable’ and ‘cried a lot’ in the Tottenham dressing room after being substituted.
The London Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick has also posted a photo of Richarlison on crutches as he passed through the media.
Richarlison will of course be upset enough at knowing that he faces a spell on the sidelines but the World Cup in Qatar makes this immeasurably worse.
Brazil head to Qatar in November and Richarlison would have been playing on the biggest stage in world football as Brazil’s main striker.
Boss Tite seems to prefer Richarlison to Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino and his starting role in Qatar seemed to be under little threat.
Richarlison will now fear that this injury has come at the worst possible time and that he will now miss out on playing in the World Cup at all.
Upcoming tests and scans will determine Richarlison’s fate but Tottenham, Brazil and Richarlison himself will be fearing the worst given how upset he has been.
