Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that Richarlison will not play against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United after suffering an injury against Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs got the better of Everton 2-0 at home in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Brazil international forward Richarlison started the match, but Conte had to take him off due to a calf injury.
Tottenham will lock horns with Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
And Conte has said that former Everton and Watford star Richarlison will not play against Ten Hag’s side.
Richarlison will not play for Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United
Conte said: “Yeah for sure he’s out against Manchester United. He felt something in his calf and he won’t be available for that game.
“I think he needs a bit of time to recover. It’s a pity because we are talking about a player that gives us a lot of quality but at the same time also is strong and he improves our intensity.”

Blow for Spurs
In our view, the injury suffered by Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison against Everton is a blow.
The match against Manchester United will be massive, and Conte needs all of his best players available.
But Richarlison has been ruled out.
Yes, even without the Brazilian, Spurs still have a strong attacking unit, but there is no doubt that Richarlison gives Conte another good option.
It also seems that Richarlison will miss more than the match against United, and that is a big blow to Tottenham.
