Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk has raved about his Anfield teammate Calvin Ramsay and believes that the teenager could soon explode, as quoted in Yahoo!.
Van Dijk has said that he has been impressed by what he has seen of his Liverpool teammate Ramsay so far.
The Netherlands international centre-back believes that working with Liverpool and England international right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold on a daily basis will only help the 19-year-old Scotland Under-21 international get better.
Virgil van Dijk on Liverpool teammate Calvin Ramsay
Van Dijk said about Ramsay: “I have seen him more outside of the training pitch than on the training pitch,” he said. “But so far what I have known of him is that he is a good boy.
“He wants to work, he is learning each and every day from one of the best right backs in the country. He learns how we want to play, what we expect from a right back in our way of playing.
“He needs time, but his time will come. I am not worried that. But he has been very positive towards everyone.”

Future star
In our opinion, Liverpool right-back Calvin Ramsay is a star for the future who will grow and develop in the coming years.
After all, he is only 19 and moved to Liverpool from Aberdeen in the summer of 2022.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the number one right-back at Liverpool at the moment, and that is not going to change anytime son.
Ramsay will have to bide his time.
And we do not think that he should be in a rush anyway.
As we have mentioned before here, Ramsay is only 19.
For now, the teenager should work hard in training and make the most of the chances that he will get.
