According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United are interested in Tottenham and West Ham target Davide Frattesi.
Manchester United set for Tottenham & West Ham fight
Well, the race to sign the Italy international just became a bit more competitive for Antonio Conte and David Moyes.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe Manchester United sent scouts to watch Frattesi in action for Sassuolo in their 5-0 win over Salernitana last week, where he played 80 minutes as his side stormed to victory.
The update comes after a different story from Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Tottenham and Brighton are keen to sign the 23-year-old next year.
Elsewhere, it was FC Inter News who revealed that West Ham are also admirers of Frattesi, who Sassuolo value at £26m.
The Sassuolo No.16 has become one of the best players in Serie A across recent years, with the Italian even earning comparisons to Dele Alli as a result of his goalscoring ability.
Frattesi has scored two goals in eight Serie A outings so far this season, although that return certainly doesn’t do his movement justice – he has a keen eye for a goal.

In what is worrying news for Erik ten Hag, Moyes and Conte’s hopes of signing Frattesi, he is also wanted by José Mourinho at Roma – according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Of course, the Italian giants probably do not have the financial power to fend off the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham nowadays, but they do have the pull factor of being a juggernaut in Italian football.
Mourinho has been able to attract the likes of Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham to Rome, while he can also offer Frattesi Europa League football having just won the inaugural UEFA Conference League last season.
