Liverpool have been boosted by Curtis Jones‘s return to training.
The Reds’ academy product has missed the whole season due to injury thus far and hasn’t played a Premier League game under Jurgen Klopp since May.
However, he was photographed at Kirkby on Friday as Klopp put his Liverpool players through their paces ahead of visiting Arsenal on Sunday evening.

Elsewhere, Caoimhin Kelleher was also included in the German manager’s latest session.
Like Jones, the Irish goalkeeper, Alisson’s deputy between the sticks, hasn’t kicked a ball for Liverpool this season.
But the big man was seen towering above Mohamed Salah in one picture from the session.

The return of Jones really is a big deal.
The 21-year-old has been described as a ‘massive talent‘ by the Liverpool manager and him being available for selection again can only be a good thing.
He is unlikely to start Sunday’s visit to the Gunners, but having him as an option again certainly improves the squad at a time when the Reds need their midfielders back.
Klopp’s side have only won two of their first seven Premier League outings this season and there’s no doubt that funk is linked to injuries, like Jones.
Not so much Kelleher, who wouldn’t have played regardless because Alisson has been fit but, again, the Irishman’s return improves the squad as a whole.
