According to Jeunes Footeux, West Ham are now interested in bringing Tottenham target Evan Ndicka to the Premier League.

West Ham & Tottenham plan Eintracht Frankfurt raid

Well, it was Foot Mercato who claimed that Spurs led the race to sign the Frenchman during the summer transfer window.

However, Ndicka decided to see out the final year of his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt, in which time West Ham have entered the race for his signature.

Jeunes Footeux also claim that Sevilla are keen on the 23-year-old.

The French news outlet add that Ndicka will be available for just €15m (£13m) in January due to his contract situation, although West Ham are not said to be interested in a winter deal.

That could still happen, but Jeunes Footeux specifically state that the east Londoners are monitoring the situation with the intent to sign Ndicka on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.

The Eintracht Frankfurt No.2 has been a key man for the German side this season, making 13 appearances in all competitions while also playing all but seven minutes of the Bundesliga campaign.

West Ham & Tottenham cannot risk waiting

In our view, West Ham and Tottenham risk missing out on Ndicka if they wait until he becomes a free agent.

By that point, we fear the competition for his signature will go way beyond Sevilla, with the danger being that more attractive sides outmuscle Spurs and the Hammers.

From our point of view, Antonio Conte and David Moyes would be foolish not to explore a January deal, especially for just £13m.

Ndicka is one of the most exciting defensive prospects in Europe, and is already looking comfortable in the Champions League for Eintracht Frankfurt at the age of just 23.

If he does well in the Premier League, that £13m investment could easily triple given his age, so it is certainly worth pursuing for West Ham and Tottenham.
