According to Calciomercato, Chelsea could offer Leeds target Christian Pulisic and £90m to sign Rafael Leao from AC Milan, with Liverpool also keen.

Chelsea could use Leeds target to outdo Liverpool

Well, the Italian news outlet believe Chelsea have already failed to make progress in negotiations with a £90m offer, and Todd Boehly is now planning to include some players in the bid.

One of those is Pulisic, who Jesse Marsch wants at Elland Road – according to Dean Jones.

The United States international – who cost Chelsea £58m – is said to be interested in a move to AC Milan, so his inclusion in the deal could well be enough to get things moving between the Blues and the Rossoneri.

Pulisic has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge this season, making just one Premier League start.

Interest in Leao comes after he began the current campaign in blistering form, scoring four goals while also providing seven assists in nine appearances so far.

According to AC Milan info, the Portugal international has a release clause worth £130m at the San Siro, so Chelsea will surely tempt the Italian giants to do business by including a £58m forward in Pulisic to their £90m bid.

Chelsea could frustrate Leeds & Liverpool

In terms of upsetting their domestic rivals, Chelsea could kill two birds with one stone here.

It was Corriere della Sera who revealed that Liverpool also want to sign Leao, although the Blues now look in pole position to fend off the Reds.

In addition to potentially upsetting Jürgen Klopp, Chelsea would also be offloading Pulisic to a foreign side, ensuring that he does not come back to haunt them on a regular basis, which may happen if he stays in the Premier League with Leeds.

If Boehly pulls off this idealistic scenario, it will surely delight Graham Potter and the Chelsea fans.
