Robert Lewandowski remains one of the most prolific strikers in world football and Poland’s talisman has made an impressive start to life at Barcelona.
The 34-year-old got his move to the Nou Camp in the summer after Bayern Munich reluctantly accepted that he wanted to embark on a new challenge.
The Bavarian giants’ hand was slightly forced given that Lewandowski’s contract at the Allianz Arena was due to expire in June 2023.
Barcelona paid Bayern £42.6m to bring the Polish ace to Catalan, and despite seemingly entering the latter years of his career, Lewandowski continues to maintain his phenomenal rate of scoring.

After finishing his Bayern career with a staggering 344 goals from 375 games, Barcelona’s number nine isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.
Having netted a hat-trick on his Champions League debut for Blaugrana, Lewandowski has scored in his last six La Liga games.
He has 12 goals from nine games since signing for Xavi’s side.
But with the small matter of the World Cup on the horizon, HITC Sport takes a look at whether Robert Lewandowski has scored at the World Cup.
Has Robert Lewandowski scored at the World Cup?
With 76 goals from 134 caps, which puts him out on his own as Poland’s most-capped player and all-time top scorer, Lewandowski will be desperate to break new ground in Qatar.
Barring picking up an injury beforehand, Lewandowski will spearhead Poland’s charge in Qatar.
He’s only previously participated in one World Cup and that came in 2018 in Russia.
Poland failed to get out of the group stages at the last World Cup and Lewandowski failed to score in any of the three group games.

Czeslaw Michniewicz’s Poland have been drawn in Group C alongside Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Argentina.
With Lionel Messi’s Argentina favourites to top the group, Lewandowski will be hoping to fire Poland to the knockout stages.
Lewandowski has five goals from 11 European Championship appearances, and one of the greatest strikers of all time will be desperate to score at this winter’s tournament, as it could be his last chance to play at another World Cup.
