When Richarlison was named in the starting XI for the clash between Arsenal and Tottenham, fireworks were to be expected.

The Brazil international is a master of the dark arts out on the pitch, earning a reputation as one of those players who simply know how to wind up the opposition and get inside their head.

That was on show once again at the Emirates Stadium as Richarlison was spotted giving Aaron Ramsdale some stick immediately after Harry Kane equalised for Spurs with a calm penalty.

Just after Kane scored his 100th away goal in the Premier League, Richarlison turned to Ramsdale and appeared to say something to the £30m man in an attempt to wind him up.

The England international – who is no stranger to the dark arts himself – was clearly moved by whatever the South American shouted right in front of him, as he could be seen sharply turning his head to react.

You can see the moment in question from the 14 second mark during the footage below.

Before anything could escalate, however, Richarlison jogged off to join in the celebrations with his teammates.

In what was his first taste of a north London derby, Richarlison showed why Spurs spent £60m on his services.

The 25-year-old won Tottenham their penalty when drawing a foul from Gabriel Magalhães, while he nearly scored early on but for a fine save from Ramsdale.

In truth, he was unfortunate to be on the losing side, and his chances to hurt Arsenal lessened after Emerson Royal received a straight red card.

Richarlison brings pure chaos to the attack alongside Kane and Heung-min Son, with his tenacity and energy proving to be the perfect foil alongside Tottenham’s No.10 and the South Korea international.

Just months after swapping Merseyside for north London, Richarlison is already a firm fan favourite in N17.
