Smith Rowe picked up an injury during Arsenal warm-down after the match against Manchester United in the Premier League, as reported by The Athletic.
However, it is not a muscular injury.
The English attacking midfielder is ‘experiencing pain in his groin related to growth’, according to The Athletic.
The report has added that this is not an injury per se, claiming that ‘the club and those around the player do not believe this situation will lead to a long-term absence’.

In our view, the report in The Athletic is very encouraging for Arsenal and Emile Smith Rowe, described as “fantastic” by former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney on Sky Sports (04/04/22 at 7:50 pm).
It suggests that the 22-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, will be back before long.
Now, Arsenal are doing well without the England international at the moment, but we have no doubt that he would give manager Mikel Arteta another very good option in attack.
Smith Rowe has scored 12 goals and created eight big chances in 59 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
