The Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath has reported on Twitter that Leeds United winger and Tottenham Hotspur target Daniel James is undergoing a medical at Fulham at the moment.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that that former Manchester United winger James will join Fulham on a season-long loan deal on summer transfer deadline day.
The Times reported last night that Tottenham were looking to compete a deal for the former Swansea City winger.
However, it now seems that Tottenham will miss out on the signing of the 24-year-old winger – who “is quick, direct and works hard”, according to comments from Leeds Director of Football Victor Orta on the club’s official website in August 2021 – to London and Premier League rivals Fulham.

It is quite interesting that Leeds United are letting Daniel James leave for Fulham on summer transfer deadline day.
Fulham and Leeds both could be fighting for survival in the Premier League despite their strong start to the season.
So, the Whites are essentially making the Cottagers stronger.
Tottenham would have been a better move, at least for Leeds.
