Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United will give an answer to Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United over Martin Dubravka today.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Manchester United have made an official loan bid with an option to make the deal permanent next summer for £5 million.
The Slovakia international goalkeeper has agreed personal terms with the Red Devils, according to Romano.
The Italian journalist has further claimed that Newcastle will make a decision on Dubravka’s future today.

Could Manchester United sign Martin Dubravka from Newcastle United?
In our view, Manchester United would have to make a different and better offer to Newcastle United if they are to sign Martin Dubravka before the summer transfer window closes this week.
After all, why would Newcastle sent a first-team player out on loan?
The Red Devils would have a better chance of signing the 33-year-old if they pay the £5 million for him now.
And, in our view, if Manchester United are determined to sign the goalkeeper, then they should pay the money now.
After all, £5 million is not really much for the Red Devils.
