A Newcastle United and West Ham United-linked hitman is about to join another club.
On July 22, The Sun reported that both Premier League outfits had been offered the services of Andrea Belotti.
The Italy international is a free agent upon his release from Torino during the summer.
And with Newcastle and West Ham both in the market for a striker at the time, Belotti was seemingly offered him.
However, Tuttomercatoweb has reported that Belotti is set for a potentially even bigger transfer now.
According to the Italian publication, the 28-year-old is set to have a medical with Roma on Saturday and will officially sign a contract with Jose Mourinho’s outfit on Sunday.

Newcastle supporters won’t particularly care very much, by virtue of the fact they’re about to sign Alexander Isak in a club-record £63 million transfer.
West Ham, however, could’ve perhaps done with somebody like Belotti.
Yes, they’ve already signed Gianluca Scamacca, with that deal being completed four days after The Sun’s report on July 22.
But David Moyes’s side are rock bottom of the Premier League table after three matches, the only club yet to win a point this season, and the Irons are definitely going to need as much firepower as they can get.
And considering that Belotti was available for free, well perhaps West Ham might reflect with regret that they didn’t wind up accepting the reported invitation to sign him.
