What an excellent Champions League draw it was for Celtic.
The Scottish Premiership champions will be playing Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk in Group F of the competition.
There’s a mixture of glamour ties and very winnable ones for Celtic.
And no doubt the prospect of welcoming Madrid, the European champions, to Parkhead is a rather mouth-watering one.
Beating Celtic at home isn’t easy in this competition, as Barcelona have found out in the past.
And Glenn Hoddle, speaking live on BT Sport, believes that Ange Postecoglou’s outfit could ‘genuinely’ win all three of their games at Parkhead.

He said: “They will. They’ll be genuinely be saying we can pip that. They won’t be looking at winning the group, but even Madrid they can beat. They can win the three home games. They’ve turned other big clubs over up there and when that atmosphere is going there’s nothing like it. They’ll feel confident.”
Celtic haven’t graced this competition since the 2017-18 campaign, when they finished third in their group behind Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich respectively.
Even the season before that Brendan Rodgers’s side had a horrendous group, comprising of Barcelona and Manchester City.
On this occasion, however, it’s much less daunting and Hoddle is right. With the atmosphere at Parkhead, Postecoglou’s troops could seriously win all three of their home ties and it’ll be fascinating to see how they fare.
