Don Goodman has said on Sky Sports Premier League (3:19pm, August 21, 2022) that Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca played well against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea at Elland Road in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker and Sky Sports pundit was impressed by the shift that Roca put in for Leeds in the middle of the park.
Goodman was on co-commentary duty for the Premier League game between Leeds and Chelsea at Elland Road today.
The West Yorkshire club won 3-0.
Spanish midfielder Roca, who joined Leeds from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, started the match and played for 61 minutes.
Praise for Marc Roca display for Leeds v Chelsea
Goodman said on Sky Sports Premier League (3:19pm, August 21, 2022): “Little bit like his teammate Tyler Adams, a lot of stuff that he has done this afternoon might not have caught the eye, without the ball.”

Impressive performance
In our view, Marc Roca had a very good game for Leeds United against Chelsea at Elland Road in the Premier League today.
The Spaniard produced a performance that showed why Bayern Munich signed him in 2020.
The 25-year-old was a force to be reckoned with in the middle of the park, broke Chelsea’s attacking forays, and kept things ticking for Leeds.
Roca was brilliant alongside Tyler Adams, and we can see that there is a very strong partnership developing there.
