Everton to bid for Leeds United striker target Goncalo Ramos
Record have reported that Everton have now joined the race for Ramos and are ready to compete with Newcastle United, Southampton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest for the striker in the summer transfer window.
The Toffees are now preparing to come forward with a bid for the 21-year-old Portugal Under-21 international, according to the report in the Portuguese publication.
Need for a new striker
Leeds have also been linked with Ramos.
Just like Everton, Leeds need to sign a striker in the summer transfer window.
Patrick Bamford is the number one striker at Elland Road, but the England international striker has had injury problems.
Everton sold Richarlison to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, and there are injury concerns over Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

90min reported on August 11 that Jesse Marsch’s Leeds are monitoring the situation of Ramos and have asked to be kept aware of his availability.
The report claimed that Benfica want £30 million in transfer fees for the 21-year-old.
Stats
Ramos made 17 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Portuguese domestic league last season.
The striker scored seven goals and gave one assist in those matches
The attacker has also scored one goal and given one assist in two Portuguese league appearances for Benfica so far this campaign.
