Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have told Nicolas Pepe to leave the Gunners as soon as possible, with talks going on with Nice, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Arsenal and Nice are continuing talks over a loan deal for winger Pepe.
The Gunners have told the £140,000-a-week (Spotrac) winger that he has to find a solution as soon as possible, according to Romano.
Arsenal want Nicolas Pepe to leave for Nice
Exit inevitable
In our view, it is only a time before Nicolas Pepe leaves Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old winger was left out of the Arsenal squad for their Premier League game against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Pepe has been struggling to play regularly under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, and it is really hard to see him get much playing time at the Gunners this season.
If Nice want the winger, then it would make sense for the Ivory Coast international to make the switch to the Ligue 1 club, at least on a loan deal.
Pepe made five starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, and made 16 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the league in 2020-21.
