Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur could use Sergio Reguilon to sign Nottingham Forest target Ruslan Malinovskyi from Atalanta in the summer transfer window, according to TMW.
Tottenham’s plan regarding Nottingham Forest target Ruslan Malinovskyi
TMW have reported that Tottenham are interested in signing Malinovskyi, and that the Premier League club could soon open talks with Serie A outfit Atalanta over the 29-year-old Ukraine international midfielder.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Tottenham could send left-back Reguilon – who cost Spurs £28 million in transfer fees (talkSPORT) – to Atalanta as part of the deal.
Tottenham’s reported plan regarding Malinovskyi will come as a blow for Nottingham Forest.
That’s because the promoted Premier League club have also been linked with the 29-year-old Ukraine international midfielder.
TMW reported last week that Forest are keen on securing the services of the former Genk star.

Could a transfer happen?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur have a better chance of signing Ruslan Malinovskyi from Atalanta than Nottingham Forest.
Forest have just been promoted to the Premier League, while Tottenham will play in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Malinovskyi is used to playing in European competitions with Atalanta and challenging for the Serie A top four, so a move to Spurs would be more appealing to him than a transfer to Forest.
