Naby Keita leaving Liverpool has been a topic of discussion this week.
According to Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany, the Reds midfielder is unhappy at Anfield.
The journalist tweeted this week that negotiations over a contract extension have now stopped and, with Keita’s existing Liverpool deal running until only next summer, the prospect of him being sold before September cannot be ruled out.
Speaking to media this afternoon ahead of Monday’s visit to Manchester United, Klopp was not drawn on the player’s future.
He did, however, reveal that Keita is looking ‘really good’ in training despite the rumours swirling around about the Guinea international.
He told Liverpool’s official website: “Naby was ill for a week, last game on the bench, is fully in training, looks really good. All fine.”

Is Naby Keita leaving Liverpool?
To be honest, Liverpool absolutely cannot afford to offload Keita.
Midfielders are in short supply for Klopp, with Thiago, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones already injured.
Even with Keita in the squad, the former Borussia Dortmund manager still must call on Fenway Sports Group to bring in at least another figure.
Without Keita, they would need a minimum of two – perhaps even three – new midfielders which, at this late stage, simply isn’t going to happen.
