There’s been some excellent Liverpool team news for Monday’s visit to Manchester United.
Jurgen Klopp’s outfit travel to Old Trafford early next week in what is a massive contest for both Premier League rivals.
Liverpool have drawn their first two Premier League outings of the campaign, putting them four points behind Manchester City already.
It was expected that Klopp could have a fitness headache relating to team selection.
Darwin Nunez is suspended following his red card against Crystal Palace and with both Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota missing the visit of the Eagles through injury, the Reds manager is currently without a traditional number nine.
However, Goal has reported a major ‘boost’ for Klopp by revealing that Firmino – labelled ‘world class‘ by his manager – is expected to be available for selection.
The report adds that his omission versus Palace was purely precautionary.

With the Brazil international playing a massive role in Liverpool’s success down the years, this is absolutely excellent news.
HITC Sport wrote on Wednesday about how Klopp might’ve been forced to use Fabio Carvalho through the middle as a result of having nobody else.
But with Firmino available, well that’ll be an enormous weight off Klopp’s mind in the lead up to the contest.
There’s still many more injury concerns the German manager has to worry about – particularly in midfield – but having an experienced, lethal front-three is also vital.
