Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are ready to make a bid for Leeds United target and Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos, according to The Northern Echo.
The Northern Echo have reported that Newcastle are prepared to pay around €30 million (£25.36 million) for Ramos.
The Magpies are aware of interest in the 21-year-old striker from defending Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Benfica are reportedly willing to sell the Portugal Under-21 international this summer.
Interestingly, Leeds have also been linked with Ramos.
90min reported this week that Leeds are among the clubs who have asked about the 21-year-old Portugal Under-21 international striker.

Could Newcastle United sign Leeds United target Goncalo Ramos?
In our view, Newcastle United could be able to sign Goncalo Ramos from Benfica ahead of Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
It seems that the Magpies are prepared to make a bid for the 21-year-old, while Leeds have only just asked about him and are not yet advanced in their interest.
This suggests that Newcastle are more determined than Leeds to secure the services of the youngster.
Ramos made 17 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Portuguese domestic league last season.
The striker scored seven goals and gave one assist in those matches
Ramos has also given one assist in one Portuguese league appearance for Benfica this campaign.
