Speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold has been discussing Tottenham and their pursuit of Destiny Udogie.
Spurs have been linked with Udogie for a number of weeks now, and it sounds as though this deal is nearing completion.
Indeed, numerous outlets have stated this week that this transfer sheaded in the right direction, and now, Gold claims that this is a deal that could be done by the end of this week.

Gold shared what he knows about this Udogie move.
“Hopefully we should have him confirmed, I’d imagine by the end of the week, I don’t think there’s much holding it up now, it’s just a case of doing all of the bits and pieces. There was talk of him doing his medical rather than here, but some eagle-eyed people on his Instagram he was saying he was in London. Either way it will get done and it doesn’t matter anyway because he’s heading back to Udinese, but that will be a really good deal,” Gold said.
One of the future
It’s always exciting to hear that your club is nearing a signing, but the fact that Spurs fans will have to wait at least a year to see Udogie play for their club somewhat takes the shine off of this one.
However, as the likes of Oliver Skipp have shown, a loan spell can be the best thing for any footballer, and after another year of shining in Serie A, Udogie could be ready for a first-team spot.
Ivan Perisic will be 35 this time next year, and, with all due respect, even the best footballers of all-time start winding down at that age.
Udogie is one for the future, and while this signing won’t impact the upcoming season, it’s certainly one to be excited about.
