David Moyes’s West Ham United have made a bid for Leeds United target and Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Matheus Nunes in the summer transfer window, according to Record.
Record have reported that West Ham have offered Sporting €30 million (£25.36 million) upfront plus €5 million (£4.23m) in add-ons for Nunes, but Sporting are looking for €50 million (£42.27 million).
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has been linked with Leeds, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool as well.
As we covered here on HITC Sport last month, Record reported that Leeds asked about signing Nunes and were told to pay €50 million (£42.27 million) for him.
The Daily Mail have reported that Liverpool have pulled out of the race to sign the 23-year-old, but Wolves remain keen on securing the services of the Portugal international.

Could a transfer happen?
In our opinion, if West Ham United are keen on signing Matheus Nunes in the summer transfer window, then they will simply have to pay Sporting Lisbon €50 million (£42.27 million) in transfer fees.
There is simply no other way.
Sporting will know that Nunes is in huge demand, so they will want to make the most of it.
Nunes has given one assist in one Portuguese league appearance so far this season.
The 23-year-old scored three goals and provided two assists in 31 league starts last season.
