Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United are now reportedly facing competition from Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest for Cody Gakpo.
Footmercato have reported that Leeds and Arsenal have been looking at signing Gakpo from PSV in the summer transfer window.
The report in the French news outlet has claimed that Forest, who are playing in the Premier League this season after winning promotion from the Championship, are now showing interest in the 23-year-old as well.
Forest have made an offer to the Netherlands international, according to the report.
Could Nottingham Forest sign Arsenal and Leeds target Cody Gakpo?
In our view, Nottingham Forest could struggle to sign Cody Gakpo for PSV ahead of Leeds United and Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Forest have only just returned to the Premier League, and there is the risk that the Reds could get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Gakpo would be aware of that scenario, and surely the 23-year-old will not want to move to a club who could be fighting for survival when he has interest from Arsenal among other teams.
The Netherlands international winger scored 12 goals and gave 13 assists in 22 Eredivisie starts for PSV last season.
Gakpo has scored two goals in one league match for the Dutch club this campaign.
