The 39-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Watford in June and he has been busy creating content for his ‘Cycling GK’ YouTube channel.
During his latest video, Foster was donning Arsenal’s third kit as you can see in this video and in the picture below.
ONE LAST CHANCE FOR FOSTER
Foster understands that he is probably on the last road of his career and the experienced goalkeeper is seemingly looking for one more challenge.
A number of months ago, when his contract at Watford was coming to an end, the former Manchester United player admitted that he would be happy to play a back-up role at a Premier League club.
Watford’s training ground is right next to Arsenal’s, as he also added that he would ‘love’ to sign for Arsenal if he was provided with that chance.
Foster labelled Mikel Arteta’s current number one, Aaron Ramsdale, as ‘world-class’ and shared that he would happily join the club because he would want to help ‘maximise’ the player’s potential.
Well, that possible chance has passed him because the Gunners have already added another keeper to their ranks this summer.
American shot-stopper Matt Turner arrived from MLS side, New England Revolution, this summer and he is now tasked with providing cover for Ramsdale.
Bernd Leno was that man as the number two for large parts of last season, but the German has now left the Emirates Stadium and joined newly-promoted Fulham.
