Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur and Villarreal are now in talks over the transfers of midfielders Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Tottenham are discussing loan deals for Ndombele and Lo Celso with Villarreal in the summer transfer window.
The two loan deals are separate, according to Romano, who has given further details, as you can see from his tweet below.

Exit would make sense
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur would not miss Tanguy Ndombele or Giovani Lo Celso if they left for La Liga club Villarreal on loan in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte clearly does not rate the France international or the Argentina international.
After all, Ndombele spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon in Ligue 1, and Lo Celso was on loan at Villarreal during the same period.
Tottenham would have to accept losses on two midfielders.
And while that would be bad business, if Tottenham do well on the pitch without them, then all would be forgotten.
