Frank Lampard’s Everton are competing with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea for Barcelona forward Memphis Depay, according to Sport.
Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea eye Memphis Depay
Sport have reported that Chelsea and Tottenham have already approached the former Manchester United forward.
Depay is not seen as a first-choice option by Chelsea, and the player himself does not fancy the Tottenham project, according to the report.
The Spanish publication has added that Everton would like to bid for Depay, but the 28-year-old former Lyon star wants to join a club in the UEFA Champions League if he is to leave Barcelona this summer.
Sport had earlier claimed that Depay has told his Barcelona teammates in the dressing room that he wants to stay at Camp Nou and is ready to fight for his place in Xavi’s starting lineup.

Barcelona reportedly want to sell the Dutchman and are willing to accept €20 million (£16.88 million) in transfer fees.
Unlikely Goodison Park transfer
In our view, Everton are unlikely to be able to sign Depay from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The Toffees will not be in the UEFA Champions League anytime soon, and given that Depay is 28 now and already at a massive club in Barcelona, the forward is likely to see a move to Goodison Park as a step-down in his career.
