Alan Brazil has urged Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal on talkSPORT (9:09am, August 5, 2022) to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
The former Tottenham Hotspur forward believes that if Arsenal want to sign a winger this summer, then they should seriously consider bringing in the £130,000-a-week (SalarySport) Ivory Coast international.
Alan Brazil wants Arsenal to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace
Brazil said to former Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair on talkSPORT (9:09am, August 5, 2022): “It is interesting. Ray (Parlour) said earlier he was talking to Edu, and Arsenal might not be finished yet in the transfer market, could be another wide player, another winger.

“Does it surprise you maybe they wouldn’t go for someone like Zaha because when Zaha is on form, he can be unstoppable?”
Previous interest
Arsenal were linked with a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha before.
In May 2020, former Arsenal head coach Unai Emery told The Guardian that he wanted to sign Zaha in the summer of 2019, but the club decided to bring in Nicolas Pepe from Lille instead.
Should the Gunners make a move?
In our view, if Arsenal are looking to sign a new winger in the summer transfer window, then a move for Wilfried Zaha would make sense.
Zaha is 29 at the moment and is at the top of his game.
The winger knows the Premier League inside out and would be able to make an immediate impact at Arsenal.
The Ivorian is quick, can dribble and works hard, and he would be a perfect addition to the current Arsenal team.
The former Manchester United winger has scored 61 goals and created 44 big chances in 278 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The Palace star scored 14 goals in the Premier League last season, and scored 11 goals in the league in 2020-21.
